Electronic Banking

St. John’s gratefully accepts ‘Online Bill Payment" through your bank. This allows you to make donations to be drawn regularly from your bank account. Just as you pay for many of your bills, you may sign up for an automatic bank draft (often called "e-checks") from your checking or savings account.

Here’s how to get started with “Online Bill Payment” (this is usually a free service):
  1. Log onto your bank’s web site and into your account through your computer or mobile device. Many banks offer an app for your smart phone or tablet to facilitate this process.
  2. Set up your payee. To set up the church as a payee, you’ll need our name and address:
St. John's Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 81493, Austin, TX 78708-1493 and your account number.
  3. Schedule your payment. Tell your bank the amount you want to pay, and when you want the money to be taken out of your account (one time or recurring).
  4. Your payment is sent. Your bank deducts the money from your account and sends it to the church, exactly as you instructed. If you choose, your bank will send you an email confirming that the payment has been sent.
You can also give to the church through other channels such as Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT).  The details are specific to your bank; please contact your bank for further information.
