Choir, Praise Band, and Liturgical Band

CHOIR - The Choir supports the music at the 10:30 AM service each Sunday and at
other times as needed. The choir at St. John's welcomes all souls who love to sing! We lead a range of beautiful anthems, hymns and service music, as well as contemporary songs and services. Traditional robes (which make you feel awesome!) are traded for colorful street clothes for our monthly praise band services. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM. No audition is required. PRAISE BAND - The Praise Band offers spirited, contemporary music about once a month at the 11:00 AM service and at special parish occasions. The music varies widely and includes new versions of traditional hymns, spirituals, and compositions of current Christian musical artists. LITURGICAL BAND - The Liturgical Band is a group of wind and string instrumentalists who gather to accompany the music at Christmas, Easter, and other special times. Additionally, a number of musicians play either regularly or occasionally at the 10:30 AM service.

Anytime! Just show up at a rehearsal on Thursday night at 7:30 pm (September - May), and/or on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am (year-round).
The voice that God gave you will be the perfect fit! We welcome all ranges and abilities; and have even helped some come to know that they are singers, after all. You will be welcomed as one of the family from day one.
