The Sunday Discovery Series for Adults

THE ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION series starts on the last Sunday of August, the 24^th. This six week series will focus on the “Social Gospel,” a term used to describe an emphasis on social ministry and social justice issues. The series will investigate the history of the church’s involvement and theology in implementing the Social Gospel, including the more modern examples of the Church’s involvement with major movements in Europe and in the United States.

The next series, starting on October 5^th, will focus on the current debate of Intelligent Design, Creationism and Evolution.

The classes begin at 9:15 a.m. and end at 10 a.m. in time for the 10:15 a.m. service.
