Special Series for Lent 2018
Loving your Enemies: Spirituality for Challenging Times
Now more than ever, we need to follow Jesus’ command to love our enemies. Our country is polarized and our public debates have a “take no prisoners” aspect. And yet, we will be unable to find common solutions to our problems if we treat each other as enemies. Nonetheless, loving your enemy, or even your political opponent, is extremely difficult. It requires a grounded spirituality. In this series, we will explore different spiritual practices with reference to different personality types to help you find spiritual practices that match your personality.
Prior to the course, please take the Myers-Briggs Personality Test. You can take an unofficial version for free here: https://owlcation.com/social-sciences/Myers-Briggs-Personality-Test-Free-Online
You may also want to order the following book: Prayer and Temperament: Different Prayer Forms For Different Personality Types by Chester P. Michael and Marie C. Norrisey.
